Slovenia is a country in Central Europe bordered by Italy, Austria, Hungary, Croatia and the Adriatic Sea. It is mostly mountains and forests with part of the Alps stretching across northern Slovenia. Its capital city is Ljubljana famous for its Lipizzan horses.
