Cyprus Colouring Sheets
Cyprus is an island country located in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. It is an island divided since 1974 when Turkey invaded the north in response to a military coup on the island that was backed by the Greek government. The island was effectively partitioned with the northern third run by a Turkish Cypriot government and the southern two thirds by the internationally recognised government led by Greek Cypriots. It's capital and largest city is Nicosia and it has a population of around 1.2 million. We have lots of great Cyprus content including colouring pages, puzzle sheets and lots more.
The national flag of Cyprus features an outline of the island in copper beneath which is two olive branches to symbolise peace between the islands two communities. The island is a copper colour to symbolise the large deposits of copper ore that are on the island. We have the Cyprus flag all ready to be printed out and coloured in.
